The example of hyperthermia application

Patient E., 45 y., previously refused to undergo the treatment. As a result, at start point of the treatment – total infiltration of right breast by cancer, including infiltration of underlying muscles and ribs (FIG.1)

 After local superhigh hyperthermia (heating till 75C approximately during 5 minutes) the process of necrosis of tumor started and continued during two weeks. As a result of this treatment the tumor process totally disappeared (FIG.3)

Then, after I.V. polychemotherapy the lymph nodes and fat tissue of right axilla were removed.

The treatment was completed by postoperative radiotherapy (FIG.4)

          The 6-years monitoring shows: patient returned to active life (working as commerce agent) and gained a weight (20 kg)
